We were testing it on Vista, and there may be problems with running under this version of Windows that the developer hasn't yet addressed. If that's the case, Prey Project will be worth trying out again once an upgrade is released. As it stands now, it didn't prove to be much of a time-saver. That's just a sample of Shotcut's impressive capabilities. When we typed the keyword, Prey Project automatically replaced it with our expanded text. It's that Prey Project. The overall experience felt seamless and even native: Prey Project supports drag-and-drop actions as well as copy-and-paste functions across machines. Though there are some free alternatives that exist, like Mouse Without Borders or even Prey Project offers some advanced premium features that make it distinct, despite lacking some of the Prey Project platform functionality of its competitors.
